Czechia ranks among top countries at attracting talent

sunsetAdecco Personnel Agency’s 2019 Global Talent Competitiveness Index (GTCI) has ranked the Czech Republic as the 25th best country in the world with regards to working conditions and opportunities.

The study surveyed 125 countries and 114 cities, observing the conditions in which countries and cities attract, educate, and retain new talents in the job market.

Switzerland, Singapore and the United States led the listing. The Czech Republic, which ranked 25th, was boosted by its strengths in retaining talent and vocational and technical knowledge.

In terms of cities, Prague also ranked 25th in the overall rankings – however, the capital city ranked as the seventh-best city worldwide in terms of maintaining an ideal standard of living that helps retain talented people in the job market. This placement surpassed the rankings of major cities such as Boston, Washington or London.

It was also revealed that cities specifically are surpassing countries with regards to attracting and keeping talent and will significantly impact the global talent scene in the future.
